At Cafe du Soleil, we are proud to source most of our ingredients from Kent. After all we are in the garden of England so it makes sense. We believe that the freshest ingredients make the most delicious meals, and we are dedicated to creating dishes that showcase the best of what the region and our mediterranean cuisine has to offer.

Our menu is filled with dishes that are both hearty and healthy, like our Aubergine, Ricotta & Mint Ravioli made with Homemade pasta, tomato sauce, pecorino, basil oil. Or why not try our Porcini & Mushroom Risotto, made with roast garlic portabello mushroom stuffed with spinach & farmhouse cheddar, cooked in our huge wood burning oven?

 

 

At Cafe du Soleil, Vegetarian and Vegan food is integral to our menu, not just an afterthought. We are very proud of the plant based and meat free food we serve.

Some of our dishes are authentic Mediterranean classics, whilst others have been created by our chef. Most of our vegetarian dishes can easily be made vegan, including our pizzas, as all of our food is cooked freshly to order. 

Here are a selection of the dishes that we have been serving this year:

Aubergine Gratin – Parmesan, mozzarella, smoked scamorza, basil, tomato sauce, herb oil.

Mixed Vegetarian Platter for Two – Hummus, baked camembert, olives, cauliflower fritters, aubergine caponata, tzatziki, foccacia.

Bruschetta – Grilled focaccia, heritage tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, black olives, capers, garlic and basil. Toasted almonds.

Wood Fired Garlic & Mozzarella Foccacia, Garlic Foccacia, Rosemary Foccacia, Marinated Olives

Fiorentina Pizza – Free range egg, spinach, goat’s cheese, parmesan, pine nuts, tomato, mozzarella.

Napoletana Pizza – Tomato, fresh buffalo mozzarella, extra virgin olive oil, basil.

Mushroom Pizza – Tomato, mushrooms, smoked provolone, parsley pesto.

Roast Butternut Squash Pizza – Red onion, tomato, green chilli, pumpkin seeds, crispy sage leaves, parsley oil. Vegan or dairy mozzarella.

Aubergine, Ricotta & Mint Ravioli – Homemade pasta, tomato sauce, pecorino, basil oil.

Cauliflower Fritters – Shitake mushroom sticky rice, green bean & courgette coconut curry.

Homemade Tagliatelle – Asparagus, courgettes, peas. Extra virgin olive oil, lemon zest, garlic, chilli. Finished with vegan parmesan or pecorino.

Cauliflower, Herb & Chilli Pancakes – Beluga lentil stew, provençale roast tomato, feta, sprouting broccoli, salsa verde.

Porcini & Mushroom Risotto – Wood roast garlic portabello mushroom stuffed with spinach & farmhouse cheddar.

Roast Squash Risotto – Butternut, crema di gorgonzola, butternut crisps, roast hazelnuts.

Summer Courgette Risotto – Yellow and green courgettes, spinach, baby carrots, summer herbs. Finished with farmhouse cheddar.

Beetroot & Goat’s Cheese Salad – Roast mixed beets, fried goats cheese, candied pecan nuts, mixed leaves, honey mustard vinaigrette. Foccaccia.
